My previous boss would say at least once a day "that's not really in my bailiwick" or "you have to talk to X about that. That's right in his bailiwick".
I understood what it meant but I resolved myself to never investigate what it actually means. And know I've happened upon it by accident. Unacceptable.
It's destiny. You can't avoid it.
