No, Ockham's razor tells us that if competing hypotheses are otherwise equivalent, we should prefer the one with fewer assumptions. Clearly the simulation hypothesis requires extra assumptions.scott1328 wrote:Occam’s razor tells us not to add unnecessary hypotheses.
