There are two examples that's readily available.
1. Creationist fundamentalist who believes that genesis is literal vs moderate who believes that genesis is only allegorical.
2. Fundamentalist who interprets the violent passages in religious texts in a straightforward manner vs moderates who choose to ignore the violent passages because our modern society don't consider that politically correct and/or because it's not economically viable (eg. the Muslim who has to tolerate the kafir because the kafir is his boss or his customer).
