Fantastic! Not only a complete grinding into the ground of ID, but some new concepts for understanding evolutionary paths.

It shows that the error with Irreducible Complexity is that it assumes a direction for each evolutionary step, but step 2 of the two step can often involve taking bits away, making all the remaining bits necessary. So the past of a structure may not be found by taking bits away but by adding bits on. And then the discovery that even if all single parts are now necessary, combinations of those parts may be removable, so the past of the structure may indeed be found by taking bits off as long as its two or more at a time.

That's very cool science.
