I found this article to be especially helpful to me. I just finished Behe's "Darwin's Black Box", and was very skeptical of a lot of the conclusions he came to. Reading his chapter on the supposed difficulties of bacterial flagellum inspired me to do a bit of research and it was then that I discovered the 'Mullerian Two-Step'. That in itself allowed me to look at 'irreducible complexity' in a new light. In a way I felt this simple two step process actually destroyed the whole premise of his book. It surprised me that he wouldn't even mention or acknowledge the obvious difficulties to his arguments like these.
Least to say I've lost a LOT of respect for this man. Just watch a few of his recent interviews where he has to confront questions like these. It makes me cringe in embarrassment the way he avoids the evidence.
