The GB syndrome remains quite rare, although early figures I have seen suggest it more common than expected with ZikaV, this may just be a function of small sample size, or it really could be that ZikaV does cause a higher incidence.
Yes seek out breeding sites and disrupt them, pile on the repellent etc but what is almost certainly needed is serious fogging of Aedes habitat to reduce numbers and eliminate the older mosquitoes, who by frequency of bites are more likely to be infected.
