Yeah I was assuming the claim implied that environmental = external variable, but I totally agree with the way you put it. Anyway, thanks for the links, they look pretty interesting. It's a pity that in my country that kind of literature is almost non existent and banned from psychology colleges, but thanks to the internet one can get around it
