I'm puzzled as to what biology has to do with this? There are plenty of people out there in polygamous relationships who manage quite happily without getting sufficiently jealous as to kill anyone.
I think you're underestimating the capacity of humans to be open and honest and love each other, whilst also having relationships with multiple individuals.
