You are obviously a thoughtful person and you no doubt agree that justice should be objective and impartial, and therefore removed from injured parties and left to the state.
However, the state completely failed your friend so the cunt that attacked her deserved the kicking you gave him. Hopefully he is now scared and will leave her alone. Unfortunately you are now facing the objective justice of the state, but at least you recognise that and are willing to accept whatever comes your way.
