They shouldn't be exclusive. But how many people see them as being inherently exclusive? What has to be done is never seen as a source of satisfaction.

I'm glad we agree that daily tasks may or may not provide satisfaction. Where exactly does that get your argument?

I really haven't seen any connection between the various disparate elements that have appeared in the thread.
