Forever is too long a time frame, however I would say that hair removal has been on the increase since the safety razor was invented and people saw they could make a dollar from doing it. In the past 20 years the majority of eastern bloc athletes and sports women know remove body hair to match their western counterparts.
I don't know and neither do you. It already has been in and out of style.
