Imagining an "overtly obvious similarity" is rather revealing of the person who does the imagining. I, for one, cannot see the remotest connection between copulation and "shooting, stabbing, punching through, ripping out somebody's heart etc ad inf." Not even on the odd occasion when a hymen gets broken in the process.
Not the remotest connection? I don't believe you. Take a glance at the name of that record label again and tell me there is no semantic shared ground.
