) would you assume the officer followed them and said that because they are black looking, and not because they were dressed as ASBO gangsters filming a violent crime glorification riddled gangster rap video?
Felltoearth made no such assumptions at all - the article expressly states that the police officer got fired because the video shows his racist treatment of a group of black kids.
So, despite having read the article and knowing that the police department also considered his behavior unacceptable, you've decided to reinterpret it to suit your bent.
