Still never got why bidets work like fountains sometimes in hotels and the like. I've seen em fire a foot in the air over the top of the bowl. If it's spraying like that isn't it a bit like jet washing your arse? And how on earth is that meant to be hygienic?
Growing up i'th north, we didn't see those curious things until we went overseas. You were lucky if you had a bathroom, let alone an indoor loo when I was a kid.
