Bought this one.... mainly for Alex Ross' superb artwork. (Don't much care for the religious undertones of Waid's story). But if I compare the gouache paintings of Bisely (Varangian's post above) with those of Ross, I'd have to say that I prefer the former. Alex Ross makes extensive use of photo references and his work is very refined. By comparison, Bisely's work is "looser" and, in my opinion, more dynamic.
