After my (locally famous) grandfather passed away, more then a thousand people gathered at his house to honor him. It was his wish to be burned, and while the ceremony went, my sister (a pianist) played this composement - life- on a piano on his funeral.
As a little man, I was very impressed. It still brings tears to my eyes whenever I hear this piece of music. I feel sorrow to think back to the moment he left to be burned. I love him still and for me this music will be forever attached to his good and loving nature. He was a one in a kind person..
I'd like to rename this piece: Evolution, the progress of life in changing circumstances:

Apart from his nature, the sound does resemble the mechanism of evolution to me. Or in other words, it resembles the grand scheme of living things. It's my reason I 'd like to share this beautiful piece of music with you lot.
