I like it! Will take a look at your others.

Arjan Dirkse wrote:Kenny, those are wonderful poems.

I have done a series of poems that were inspired by my love for Chinese and Buddhist culture, they were written (more or less) from the perspective of Fusu, the son of the first Chinese emperor Qinshihuang. There are a few samples here.

The Diary of Prince Fusu XVIII

Remembrance stinging more when hazy:
Like this foggy spring morning clinging to Winter
Slapping my cheeks with months old crusts of snow
Torn from the mountain side by this maddening wind -

This wind is crazy! It never even noticed
Its General, Dread Warlord Winter, has routed
From the forces of spring, and it fights on,
Alone, yet fearless and oblivious –
Like some cold-hearted King, trying to impart some final lesson
To his son, the youthful Prince; this will not last.
Even as winter goes and spring arrives, your heart shall harden
Your hands, your life story, will get stained,
Like the women giving birth, so you shall bring death.

That father’s just a memory now
Yet even the wind still carries his voice.
