Due to overwhelming public demand (...well two people suggested it! :shifty: ...) I could resist no longer. This is about the art of architecture. The science (loads, stresses and stuff belong elsewhere).

This is more of a selfish thread than altruistic, as I'm hoping that it might prompt others to post their favourites so that they can also inspire me.

What kick started me into starting this thread was a recent documentary about the life and work of Picasso, which revealed that the Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao, was built in to reflect his work. However, Wiki makes no mention of it.

Either way, it's one helluvan interesting building.
