There's a brilliant new series, Climbing Great Buildings on The Beeb.I missed the first one (...I'll see if I can get it on iPlayer...) but the one on Lincoln Cathedral was amazing.
One of my favourite LPs from the '70s was Fantasia Lindum by Amazing Blondel. (Lindum being the old name for Lincoln.) It contains the track 'Celestial Light' which is dedicated to the cathedral...

The next subject, Caernarfon Castle, should be interesting.
