PS: I was thinking more Nightwish (and their finnish and even yiddish folk solgs) than Eurovision (were you by any chance refering to Ruslana's Wild Dances? That might well have been the only Eurovision song I ever liked), but you're right that the use of folk elements is prolific lately.
