I wonder. Venus has a retrograde rotation of course, at -243.02 Earth days (sidereal) as I recall, giving a Venusian day (synodic rotation) of about 116 Earth days. As such 6.5 minutes a fairly small variation: but I'm not sure if the actual length of rotation would be relevant to the impact of any geological event. For example major tsunami/earthquake events like Japan 2011 can alter our wobble and rotational period, but by ,milliseconds, but would that be "scaled up" by the longer Venusian day?
Dunno. Odd coming from me, but I find it all rather disturbing -- I like to imagine a clockwork Newtonian solar system of regular and precise mechanistic motion, not some Velikosvkian catastrophic place subject to sudden fluctuations in how it all works!
