Thanks newolder. It will be interesting to see how long the lensing effect will last and if it comes and goes.

The nature note: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41550-018-0430-3 on Fig. 4b shows one of the models of the microlensing event lasted about 200 days mostly in 2016, but the caption includes:
The most densely sampled part of the light curve including the May 2016 peak (Lev16A). This maximum shows two successive peaks that may correspond to a lensed binary system of stars at zā€‰=ā€‰1.49. MJD is modified Julian date. Error bars correspond to 68% confidence levels.

So the data shows a shorter event than the wider model.
