However, Reizbarkeit has not merely the clinical meaning that has been explained. It is contained in the traditional catalogue of the defining properties of life, where it means "being responsive to stimuli".
By the way, how is this thread defined as being written in English? By the OP?
Edited to add: Reisbarkeit could also mean: e. g. for a region, the degree how easy it is to travel there.
