ex·cog·i·tate (k-skj-tt)
tr.v. ex·cog·i·tat·ed, ex·cog·i·tat·ing, ex·cog·i·tates
To consider or think (something) out carefully and thoroughly.
vb (tr)
1. to devise, invent, or contrive
2. to think out in detail
When I read it for the first time, I thought it seemed so pretentious, I would never be willing to use it, until I saw this thread. What's your opinion?
