I have to ask myself at this juncture, has any work genuinely classifiable as 'pornography' ever possessed artistic merit? Because I can't think of an example off the top of my head.
At bottom, we're dealing here with low grade wank fodder. The only reason it's being hyped as something special, is because it happened to turn up at the right time to corner the market in wank fodder for women. The idea that this book suddenly made it 'respectable' for women to indulge in a spot of fantasising, is a sad joke - the only reason that fantasising of this sort was ever considered not to be 'respectable', was because enforcers of conformity to death-cult religious doctrines in funny hats spent two millennia subjecting our species to psychological carpet bombing, telling us that any pleasure we got from our genitalia was purportedly "sinful", unless it was done in a manner approved by the same sad bastards in funny hats. Not that anyone's going to listen to their claptrap any more, now that so many of them have been caught rampantly stuffing their dicks into assorted unwilling or under-age orifices in a genuinely criminal manner, and covering up for each other via rampant abuse of power.
