I thought the writing for Harry Potter was decent, though I only read the first one. Might've read the series if I could bring myself to give a rat's ass about wizard kids.
50 Shades, on the other hand, has some of the worst writing I've ever seen. And I read Phillip K. Dick and Edgar Rice Burroughs!
