I might have read an Ayn Rand novel a long time ago but can’t remember the name. It was about an American decision to find a Mr Average and make him President and all further decisions were decided on the same line. It resulted in the destruction of humanity. Then a pack of evolved dogs arrived and the assumption was they were going to take over the world. ?
