I haven't seen Avatar yet, but my impression of the script is thus: humans find a potential ally in an alien race on an incredibly beautiful planet. So...Friends? Hell no! They're primitive, let's exploit them for resources! Paints a perfect picture, in my opinion, of the way many humans would think.
