Strangely, I've noticed the opposite trend in recent years in the UK. Ever since the internet became a big thing there seems to be a lot less 'filthy' stuff on late-night TV. The stuff Channel 4 & Channel 5 used to broadcast in the early hours back in the 90's would be almost unimaginable on a mainstream channel these days.
