I've also seen Willem Dafoe in person... and strangely, this state, especially my area has been a filming location for a while now for various stuff. The hospital in The Open Road was in my town. Ray was filmed in my town. The Campaign was filmed in my town, and was even called Hammond.
I wonder if this is for his new show?
But ya, I feel your pain being from a place that only gets known for weird, obscure, and generally not good things. Things we've been in the national/international news for include Ice Cream Truck Wars, Mom Hires Stripper for 16th Birthday, Librarian Blasts Kid for Reading too Much, and our top celebrity is this guy
