I'm going to watch The Martian now.
If this is about something other than a robotic dog that doesn't know how to dance, and then a guy comes and trains the dog to do something that isn't dancing, but then later it turns out that because the dog has learned this other skill that it can now dance, but then the guy dies and the dog wins the dancing contest and remembers him, and it's on Mars...then I will be displeased.
