That sounds too emo, not in negative connotations, for me sorry.
Climbs also got quicker over the years so in combination with better weather forecast climbing is indeed more predictable. Note in the interview how Mr Messner seems to dislike the concept of "will" (to do something) and also "inner peace" (when faced with impossible situation). I find these stories cool and I dont even know why.
