Watched Dunkirk over the weekend.

It was very good, but I couldn't help feeling disappointed about the representation of numbers. Although it was mentioned a few times that there were 400,000 troops trapped there, the visuals never really made you feel like it was much more than 4000. With CGI it would have been very easy to do a flyover scene to get the numbers across like how the boats were represented in TROY.

Also the "little ships" coming to the rescue are legendary, a very proud moment in history, but visually it was never really conveyed that there were more than 20 or so, it looked like a very poor showing, wheras in reality a quick google confirms that there were about 850 of them.
