The army Dany addresses in her Nuremberg Rally thingy (note, it doesn't even include all the northmen, just her own personal forces) sure would've come in handy towards the end of the Battle of Winterfell, when there looked to be a tiny handful of survivors, all named characters, holding out against hundreds of thousands of wights and a zombie dragon.
