I heard this on the radio for the first time on Sunday - one of those 'stopped in your tracks' moments. Knut Nystedt's Immortal Bach. A piece for three antiphonal choirs which starts with the choral Komm, süßer Tod, and then is developed as the harmony parts are slowly expanded to reveal shimmering inner resonances.
