There is still lag though, depending on what you mean.
I'm in Australia. On a good day my latency is about 250ms to 300ms. Get someone else with similar latency and when I shoot them, or vice versa, it's gonna take a good fraction of a second for that to happen on the screen. It gives the appearance of bullets going around corners in CQB. No real way around it except to play a LAN game instead.
