Again, that's going to vary from nation to nation. The difference the aid made to Germany's economy, far outstripped what they had to pay back which was, by the time they did pay it back (plus debts from post WWI) it was negligible in terms of their economy. The mileage of other nations varied.


The Dutch did not get a good deal. Something stupid about pride etc. and also paying back every cent. Typical!
