I decided to make a pair of glass display cabinets to fit into a gap by he sliding door.

I ordered the Californian Red Oak from a local timber supplier, all cut to size. I don'e have the equipment to cut long lengths.

This is a jig to router the mortices. The oval shapes got squared off later with a chisel.

Me cutting the tenons by hand. What a job! But, they are straight and fitted so well that I didn't need to use glue to hold the cabinets together.
