I never understood why people think engines that are working really hard sound powerful. I've always felt the opposite should be the case. If the engine is really that powerful, it ought not be working so hard.
Who sounds stronger? The person who lifts a heavy weight without a sound, or the person who gasps and wheezes as they lift the weight?
