So funny story…
This is my 1st gen iPad Pro. After a long day on site in Mississauga I dragged the iPad and a bunch of my equipment back to my rental car. Absentmindedly I put the black iPad with the Apple pencil on top of the black car, loaded the equipment in and drove away.
Somewhere on the Erin Mills Parkway, in my rear view mirror I see something fly off the roof and land in the road. At that point I remember the iPad.
I loop back, stop and switch on the four ways. At least two cars have driven over it and the pen is about 10 feet away.
I pick it up (no easy feat with the yobs that drive in the burbs — that’s another story) pop back into the car. When I get home I check it. The fucking thing still works, pen and all.
Anyhoo, I couldn’t get to an Apple store right away so I used it for the next four weeks in this condition.
Now using a brand spanking new 3rd Gen iPad Pro with the M1.
Snappy isn’t even the word for it.
