It is sort of a bad time to book a tour, isn't it?

It’s pop Genesis! The worst kind!

:ahrr:
She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.
Oh, my my! Oh my, she flies!

I'm getting the sense the Gabriel version doesn't tickle your fancy either.

I’ll level with ya, SAM. Peter Gabriel Genesis was somewhat before my time, and there was no one around me as a child who was into them, unlike with Pink Floyd. I have always known him as a solo artist, and loved a lot of that stuff. Unfortunately, Genesis for me is the Phil Collins version, and I loathe that man’s musical style. Apart from Follow You, Follow Me, that is.

They lost it after Hackett left. Merely MTV friendly unmemorable fluff after that.

This thread concerns a serious issue, people. Your banter is making it drift into banality. Here's your choice: Ether you make a change of sufficient magnetude to return to the original topic or I shall report you all.

Trick of the Tail … last decent album … though Abacab was OK.

Got to see them twice before fame struck.
Phil Collins is OK if you like Phil Collins, though I was disappointed when Genesis sound like Phil Collins.

"Report You All" would be a great album title for Genesis

Report my post and expect, or not, a fully charged flux capacitor to arrive in an Amazon box. The box should be opened in a magnetic containment approaching a fusion reactor core, or the results could be shocking.

(See, I used magnet words)
