So basically telepathy and telekinesis is very unlikely....unless this whole new fad with quantum mechanics can provide an explanation but in his book he goes on to debunk that also saying the neuropathways in our brains are 3 magnitudes to large for quantum effects to take place, our brains are to big and to hot for quantum effects.

I don't know, new on the forum posted here a few times 2 years ago, started looking into the skeptic stuff just the beginning of 2017 and its helped me clear up my head, thought I might do well posting and start interacting with other skeptics.

Our brains may be too large, but individual neurons are not. Some of those neurons (retinal ganglion cells) extend out to the eyes, where the quantum effect of photo-reception occurs, both in the ganglion cells themselves and, of course, the retinal photoreceptors.

EDIT: Strictly speaking, even a neuron is too large for significant quantum effects, but the opsin molecules that some of them contain are small enough - the quantum transition involved in photoreception initiates the "vision cascade".

Actually there's a few books like the holographic universe and the universe being a hologram I'm not to sure what to think about it......I kinda just try to go with what is concrete I guess and not think too much these days

Recently I just met a guy who lives in my building who uses the word quantum a lot, quantum healing creating ur reality that sort of stuff " ur mind is creating on a quantum level " he would say to me

I don't know the whole quantum things trips me out that's why I like this books so much and I posted it to share it with people, and to hear what other skeptics have to say, helps me to sort the real from the fake I guess. Lot of people throw the phrase quantum around, when I use to take karate sensei use to talk about quantum leap and fighting with energy, like literal energy beyond ur body to pull u in a direction tripped me out so I quit

Yeah, that's bollox!

Its that related to identical twins feeling each others' pain even some mothers claim that they felt their children's pain.

Such things always amazed me but there isn't any scientific proof although there are long studies on identical twins.

Maybe just another myth just like people who remember former lives, changing language and accent after brain injurious etc.

like I think the twin thing and mothers feeling their childrens pain is just because theirs a close connection, the mother basically sacrificed everything to raise their child, my friend told me his son got bullied in school and he felt like he was getting bullied, that just because someone you love so much is hurt you feel hurt as well, there is nothing metaphysically going on if that what you mean.......like I got the impression you mean some sort of.....idk like esp related connection. is that what you meant or?????
