I've now, rather stupidly, trawled through the first 20-30 pages. There's not a shred of evidence whatsoever. The OP in that thread evaded any and all questions directed at him to supply any evidence, and focused on the ones criticising him for his spelling and what-have-you.
Asdj whatever is just using the abuse as a means to cover up the embarrassment of having absolutely bugger all to substantiate his credulity.
His last post was in September some copy pasta from the NOAA space weather website with the assertion that 'it's picking up now exponentially' whatever 'it' is.
Here we are a few months down the line and the exponential increase seems to have fizzled out.
So the opinion that you asked for, asdfjkl, is that it's bollocks.

You know what's really funny. When a believer shouts at you about how porn is bad for you and then you quote a chapter from the Bible demonstrating that it contains porn and violence and they tell you they didn't bother to read your quote because it was too long.
That's why you know that believers don't know their book, it's too much to read. Especially for people who have to sound out the words and read aloud to themselves (Ratskep membership is excluded from this assertion). This happened to me yesterday on FB.
