Kissing Cigarettes/cigars/pipes/bongs etc

#1  Postby Keep It Real » Jul 13, 2018 8:51 am

Had a thought the other day - kinda pseudo-Freudian I guess. When smoking a cigarette one feels some pressure on one's lips and creates a partial vacuum in the mouth so as to draw in smoke - much as one feels pressure on one's lips and the latter when kissing. The same combination exists when breast/bottle feeding as a baby, with the added similarity that there is a small cylindrical mass between one's lips. Combination special.

Kisses - who doesn't love 'em - where are they?! :mob:

There's a state of mind allegedly where some people do see all men as tinkles and all women as twinkles and nothing more. Sex mad some people, quite literally.

Oliver Reed wrote:I also use women as a sex object; maybe I'm kinky. However, I like to talk to them as well.

I enjoy reading Jung, as whacked out and convoluted as his work can be. To me, it's art. I don't know what the fuck the OP is.

It's about the mechanical similarity between the act of kissing and the act of smoking. The bit about baby feeding is an afterthought but might hold some truth I guess. Anyway, it's one fuck of a sticky habit, the scientific community tm is unanimous....and proper explanations as to why that is so seem somewhat elusive. I have another theory about cigarette smoking and that is that it reinforces/comforts us by reassuring us that we are in fact comfortable with our mortality. Freud would probably say it is related to Thanatos but TBH I'm sceptical that Thanatos exists.

I think you have got that completely wrong. Everyone knows that cigarettes cause cancer which is why most of us no longer
smoke. However there is no evidence that being snogged by your partner on a regular basis is bad for you. Now you did add tit sucking as an afterthought but that is actually closer to snogging as it is also sexual. There is though nothing at all sexual about putting cancer sticks in to your mouth on a regular basis before eventually dying a slow and painful soul sucking death

Funny that you should mention Freud however since he was a heavy smoker who eventually died from cancer of the jaw as a consequence. So had he swopped his cigars for tongues instead he could have saved himself an aforementioned painful death But in his day of course the dangers of smoking were not known so he would have been none the wiser even if he had done so

I wasn't talking about snogging sur, but kissing as in the European both cheeks greeting style (partial vacuum in the mouth etc). Most people in my area do smoke. :worries this thread may amount to a very strong argument in favour of smoking lolz:

Also "bongs" shouldn't really be in the thread title I think as they demand straight lung inhalation, not kissy partial vacuum in the mouth.

I guess they'd fall into the category of "consuming nutrients" as would drinking through a straw. Not much physiological nutrients in a kiss/fag.

Snogging is much closer to smoking than kissing because you are actually putting something into your mouth
Kissing is not the same and this is why I brought it up since the way you are presenting it it just does not gel
But as it was probably a spontaneous thought just crossing your mind then it does not really matter as much

No not many nutrients in a snog but it should be releasing plenty of endorphins instead
And she may have just brushed her teeth so that minty breath will smell and taste nice
Also wrt Freud a woman who smokes is not sexy but a woman with an unlit cigarette is
