Well obviously.
She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.
Oh, my my! Oh my, she flies!

Probably a cross between Ethel Merman and Hannibal Lector. :coffee:

Whoever said you sounded like Ethel Merman was just being unkind.
She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.
Oh, my my! Oh my, she flies!

Funny you should mention Ethel Merman. I was just listening to Electric Ladyland, the beginning of 1983 (A Merman I Should Turn To Be) goes:

Hurray, I wake from yesterday, alive but the war is here to stay. So my love Caterina and me decide to take a last walk through the noise to the sea. Not to die but to be reborn, away from a life so battered and torn. Forever.

Make of it what you will.
