Saw a commercial on TV tonight promoting Scientology...WTF?!

I have never seen an ad for TomCruiseology on TV before. I can't remember exactly how it went, but it was something similar to this:

That's a really good commercial. They could have tacked on pretty much anything at the end and it still would have cast [that thing] in a positive, inspirational light.

'Tis a pretty good ad isn't it, except the end shouldn't have said 'It's life and its yours' or whatever, it should have said 'It's life, and if you sign over all your possessions and your soul to us for 1 billion years we'll keep you so busy on a fraction of the minimum wage that you'll never have time to do all these lovely things in our advert.'

And just because Scientologists have their eyes on everything - Fuck you, Scientology. Fuck you.

Unfortunately, yes. I saw one here in Mexico recently. I guess that they began showing them because they just opened a Scientology center in Mexico City. It was sad because I think that it talked about truth several times, even though any sentence with "truth" and "scientology" in it is an automatic oxymoron. We've got enough superstitious bullshit in this country, the last thing we need is another money-sucking religion added to the mix :nono:
