That's a really interesting article. Really goddamn long, but interesting enough to justify having a long read.

Did he really write that article on February 14 2011 though?

In another life, I'm a Brokie (fan of Brokeback Mountain) and we never understood why Haggis' "Crash" took the 2006 Oscar when it was patently a worse film. Could the vote have been stacked by Scibots? We know about high-profile Hubborgs in Hollywood, but how many are they, really?

That's the magazine's "cover date" and the cover date is always later than the published/distributed date. The cover date is a "pull-off-shelf" date or an "expires by" date, the date for the retailers to remove the older issue and get ready to replace it with the newer issue (which in turn will have a cover date which has not yet arrived).

Depending on the frequency of the magazine, the cover date can be one week out, one month out, three months out ...
Now, when I talked to God I knew he'd understand
He said, "Stick by my side and I'll be your guiding hand
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to"

After Marlon Brando came to a dinner party complaining about a cut on his leg, he was healed by an eager John Travolta, claims Josh Brolin. "I watched this process going on — it was very physical," said Brolin, who says that Travolta placed his palm over Brando's leg. "I was thinking, This is really fucking bizarre! Then, after ten minutes, Brando opens his eyes and says, 'That really helped. I actually feel different!'"

Ten minutes of John Travolta stroking my leg and I know I'd feel very different.
