The OP is pushing this thread toward discussing immigration, and you're right there in the middle of that, again. People who are desirable immigrants have their choice of destinations; it's almost tautological.

I was just saying that I was sold some faulty goods. I blame myself really, I should have known better. With hindsight, they looked pretty shifty from the start. Not because they were gypsies, of course.

I think it still does, as we saw with Mike being shown the door not too long ago, but the process has slowed, possibly due to the gradual decline in moderating staff, among other things. I know that previously the process involved a fair bit of discussion in mod central, ensuring that the charges were fairly drawn. That was reasonably easy in the early days, when there were pretty much always two or three moderating staff online. Less so now.
