Reminded me of the scene in "The Kings Speech" where he overcomes his speech impediment without knowing it, by talking over a recording so he can't hear himself.

Basically when your mind is playing tricks on you, find a way to trick it right back.
It sounds so simple when put like that, but it takes genius to get to that Eureka moment of how to achieve it.

There was a great article on a neuroscientist that came down with Parkinson's and both tracked the progress of his own disease as a clinical experiment and came up with some creative tricks as work arounds.

I've been enjoying seeing how Michael J Fox copes with his in The Good Wife series.

I recall one fascinating article on stroke victims who could not articulate unless they sang their sentences.. :scratch:
