"Zombie son of a lying whore"

Well, I laughed.

One of my daughter's school friends once told me in a very earnest manner that he thought Jesus was cool. When I asked him why he thought this (I knew his family wasn't particularly religious) he proposed the following argument:

Jesus rose from the dead.
Therefore
He was either a ghost or a zombie
Therefore
Jesus is cool.

Fucking awesome kid. Also.

Feel like posting the obligatory 'My child loved the harry potter books. Do you think this book would be appropriate for a 10 year old?'

On another forum they had a thread called, Best Product Reviews. I thought of this thread immediately. It was longer ago than I'd thought!

Aww, I missed it!
Я пью за разоренный дом,
За злую жизнь мою,
За одиночество вдвоем,
И за тебя я пью, -
За ложь меня предавших губ,
За мертвый холод глаз,
За то, что мир жесток и груб,
За то, что Бог не спас.

Not exactly on topic, but I was looking around Amazon a few months ago, when the TV show The Bible was airing, and there was a book called "The Bible: The book based on the TV series 'The Bible'". I found it rather humorous to see the lengths they will try to market just about anything.

I thought it hilarious at the beginning of episodes of the Bible it would say, "Based on true events."
